Hey Reader, I feel like I say this every year, but seriously… where did 2025 go? How are we already two weeks away from Christmas? If you’re anything like me, this time of year probably brings up one big word: pressure But this year, life handed me an unexpected lesson in letting go and I wanted to share it with you. In the past three months, my family has moved four times. It’s been chaotic, exhausting, and honestly a little comical at times. But it also forced me to really assess how we live and what truly matters. First, I realized just how much stuff we had accumulated after not moving for 23 years. Closets, drawers, and basements filled with things we forgot we even owned. Second, I learned that you really can live with very little. For weeks, we lived out of a suitcase and a handful of personal items and we were completely fine. And finally, I was reminded that home isn’t the space—it’s the people. The space is just the vehicle that holds what’s most precious. All of this, during the busiest season of the year, shifted how I’m approaching the holidays. So these are the reminders I’m carrying with me and I hope they serve you too: 💛 You’re allowed to set boundaries Okay… let’s keep things light (because we could all use a little joy right now). 🎄 My go-to holiday drink: Gingerbread Oat Chai Latte – because sometimes the budget needs room for JOY, too What about you? As we head into the final stretch of the year, I want to give you something to look forward to... something calm, nourishing, and just for us. I’ve been dreaming up a cozy little space where we can casually talk about money without stress, or spreadsheets. It’s called Money & Mocha, and it’s all about real conversations, practical tips, and support with a warm drink in hand. ☕💬 You’ll hear more about it in the next email so keep an eye on your inbox. Until then, protect your peace, enjoy the little things, and remember: Warmly, Your Money Coach 💛 P.S. I’ll be opening up early RSVP spots for the very first Money & Mocha Meetup in my next email... but if you already know you want in, you can grab your spot early right here |

July 2024 Hello Reader! I hope you all had an amazing June and are gearing up for a fantastic summer. June was a busy month for me, filled with celebrations, sports, and travel. First up, I had the joy of attending a couple of birthday celebrations. Celebrating with friends and family reminded me of the importance of setting aside time (and a budget) for these special moments. It's these little celebrations that add so much joy to our lives and strengthen our connections with loved ones. I...
May / June 2024 Aloha Reader! We just checked one of our goals off the bucket list! My husband's dream was to visit Hawaii, and it did not disappoint. The beauty of nature and realizing that we are just a speck in this vast world was amazing. But getting here wasn't a straight path. The plan was to go for his 50th birthday, which fell in 2021. I’m sure you remember what was going on during that time, so we postponed it to 2023. Then we booked our tickets and thought, "This is it!" In early...
Hey Reader, Have you ever wondered why it feels SOO hard to stick to a budget? I get it, and here’s the truth: it’s probably because your budget doesn’t quite fit your personal financial needs. Yep, no one-size-fits-all solution here! 🧥👖 Why not take a quick self-check? (Just between us, answer honestly ☺️): Can I easily cover all my bills and expenses each month? Do I have financial goals that seem just out of reach? Does thinking about money ever stress me out? How often do I buy something...
