It's winter... but it's not??
We have been having some very unusually warm weather. Not complaining... but double digits in February?
I've notice that there is something about the sun and warm weather that totally changes your mood. In the winter we tend to be wrapped up under a blanket watching our favourite shows and we are completely content. When the weather warms up, we enjoy getting out, and we do a lot more activity.
Now why am I going on.. about the weather? LOL Well our finances can kinda of get stuck in the comfort zone as well.
We become "comfortable" with the way things are and we don't want to rock the boat. You may even understand that this may not be the place that you want to be, but the fear of the unknown, fear of failure and loss of control can paralyze your movement forward.
In this week's episode of the podcast, I get into how making "baby steps" can break your finances out of the comfort zone and create movement along the path to your money goals.

First up, I had the joy of attending a couple of birthday celebrations. Celebrating with friends and family reminded me of the importance of setting aside time (and a budget) for these special moments. It's these little celebrations that add so much joy to our lives and strengthen our connections with loved ones. I...
May / June 2024 Aloha Reader! We just checked one of our goals off the bucket list! My husband's dream was to visit Hawaii, and it did not disappoint. The beauty of nature and realizing that we are just a speck in this vast world was amazing. But getting here wasn't a straight path. The plan was to go for his 50th birthday, which fell in 2021. I’m sure you remember what was going on during that time, so we postponed it to 2023. Then we booked our tickets and thought, "This is it!" In early...
Hey Reader, Have you ever wondered why it feels SOO hard to stick to a budget? I get it, and here’s the truth: it’s probably because your budget doesn’t quite fit your personal financial needs. Yep, no one-size-fits-all solution here! 🧥👖 Why not take a quick self-check? (Just between us, answer honestly ☺️): Can I easily cover all my bills and expenses each month? Do I have financial goals that seem just out of reach? Does thinking about money ever stress me out? How often do I buy something...
